In order to facilitate better roll handling, anti-block masterbatches work by producing a uniform micro-rough surface that decreases direct contact between adjacent layers of film or sheets. The reason for this is that several polymers, such as LDPE, LLDPE, metallocene catalysts, PE, BOPP film, and PET articles, have a tendency to stick to one another, making it difficult for them to move freely. This issue is made worse by speedier production lines in the present era and by the heat of summer. By functioning as spacers between the neighbouring film layers, the anti-block micro particle effectively separates them and lowers their contact area.
